Nothing is Trivial

Nothing is Trivial

A Poem by Calvin Warden II

The world has knocked me down
And I lay battered and bruised
As people just step over me
Never giving a glance my way
But that is their problem
Because I will rise again
Remembering who was with me
And those who stood in my way
I bare no ill will towards you
If you didn't lend a hand
But I'll always lift you up
If you had time to sit with me
I remember all you've done for me
Acts that are so grand or so small
Even if my mind forgets
My heart will remember them all
