Isolation Destroys

Isolation Destroys

A Poem by Calvin Warden II

Sitting alone I find myself lost
Listening to the silence scream
And watching shadows in the dark
Wondering how I got here
Not even knowing where I am
And no clues as to where I've been
Is this self imposed isolation
A way to find myself once again
Or was I left with no choice
Was it something that I did
Or maybe something I said
Was I in over my head
What ever thir cause may be
The results are crystal clear
And I know what I have to do
I must break through this wall
The one that surrounds me alone
And face the world once again
