Blind Path

Blind Path

A Poem by Calvin Warden II

I find myself standing in the crossroads
Not sure where I'm going
Can't tell where I've been
Trying to decide where to go
But I haven't got a clue
Will I continue go forward
Go back from whence I came
Or will life take a drastic turn
Here I stand lost and alone
Spinning round and round
Searching for a sign
Trying to determine which way to go
And see if I can even take a step
As the world stops spinning
I begin to stumble and fall
Taking a step I now know
The path has been chosen for me
But where will it lead me
And who will meet on this journey
I know not these answers
But I for one can't wait to see
