The Ripper

The Ripper

A Poem by Calvin Warden II

Jack the Knife
Stalks the night
The dark side kills
The good side cries
     "Look out
     The Ripper's on your trail."
To see him is deadly
Not is even worse
     "You'll try to escape
     But its to late"
Said the Ripper
The mark of madness
Put on him by himself
As he stalked his pray
With total stealth
Yet he yells
     "I'll take your heart
     But I'll leave your soul"
As he lost control
     "I'll never be seen
     Yet all deeds are watched"
Laughed the Ripper
