Warmth

Warmth

A Poem by Calvin Warden II

The shadows dance with ghosts
As my soul tries to break free
Pain and sorrow weighing it down
In this expanse of loneliness
But I keep trudging through
Knowing this can't go on forever
As I search for the faint light
Breaking through the veil of darkness
So I can find loves guide
And feal it's warm embrace
So why am I sitting in sorrow
Well I'm just regaining my strength
