Pushed to the Edge

Pushed to the Edge

A Poem by Calvin Warden II

The world has pushed me to the limit
Forcing me to stand on the cliffs edge
And you stand there waiting
Just hoping to watch me fall
But I'm here to tell you not to wait
Because a fall is not in store
Even if you push and shove me
I'll continue to stand strong
As weak and weary as I may be
My resolve is always that much more
So you just watch as the cliff crumbles
But watch me as I begain to soar
