The Mix Of Love And Life

The Mix Of Love And Life

A Poem by Calvin Warden II

The world is a dark and shallow place,
Everyone wears a frown on their face.
The peace of life to be taken from me,
This I give so you can be free.
The love I once knew, was true,
But now my love life is through.
The Angel I once loved,
Now flies like a dove.
This pain we shared,
For nothing we feared.
She left me and went to the sky,
I never thought I'd be the one to cry.
