Moon Lit Eyes

Standing in the light of the moon
I realized that I was not alone
I feel the eyes that set upon me
But to whom do they belong
A fallen star or angel from above
Or simply my mind running wild
Is this just wishful thinking
Dreams of a broken heart
Or are these feelings real
I'm overwhelmed by emotions
As my journey comes to an end
