Thre Monster, I

Thre Monster, I

A Poem by Calvin Warden II

The monster lumbers through the night
Hiding from those that he needs
Those who see him know not what to do
Or what it is that they have seen
What is it that they all so afraid of
The monster is afraid of being hurt
Everyone else is afraid of the monster
So what is there to really fear
Is the monster really all that scary
Why is it you run away in fear
Without the slightest bit of understanding
Do you even know what the monster seeks
No I don't believe you ever have
No one has ever taken the time try
To try and find the truth that lies within
So the monster continues alone
Hiding within the dark in pain
Hiding his general should
Hardening his heart within stone
And forever searching for love
