Cleansing Rain

Cleansing Rain

A Poem by Calvin Warden II

Standing in the open I face the rain
Welcoming it's cool embrace
As it washes away all my worries
And my tears just fade away
Memories are now being blurred
As the the clouds fall down on me
The rains bring me peace again
But is the rain really the reason
Opening my eyes its all clear
It's not the rain falling from above
But you standing next to me
Standing lovingly hand in hand
