A Poem by Calvin Warden II

I lay awake and watch my lover sleep
So far away and still within arms reach
I wish I could turn back time to regain what I've lost
But what would I achieve and what would be the cost
I know I love her and this is true
But I'm lost and I don't know what to do
How can I be with you and still feel so alone
Where is the love you said you have for me
Forever must be shorter then I remember
I must be stupid for feeling this way
Why can't I shake the love that I have
I wish I could see in your heart and know for sure
Do you love me anymore because I love you
