Poem of Poetry

A Poem by Calvin Warden II

The blank page waits to be filled
The pen waits to spill it's blood
The words that swim around my head
Are just waiting to be set free
And then the pen begins to cry
And the blank page forever is ruined
And the words are no longer held back
Never again shall the truth be held back
The pen is flurry with raw emotion
The page cries out in relief
The emotional dam finally destroyed
And the world is set free again

It's certainly a relief to get it all out and you capture that feeling of restlessness inside one's head very nicely.
Good write, one which the writers here can relate to well enough.
