Awakening

Awakening

A Poem by Calvin Warden II

I asked her her name
She didn't reply
Awaken

I asked her who she was
She didn't know
Awaken

I asked her about love
She seemed so lost
Awaken

I told her to look inside
She began to think
Awaken Awaken

I told her to just be her
She started to smile
Awaken Awaken

I told her I love her
She now loves her too
Awaken Awoken
