Healers Lament

Healers Lament

A Poem by Calvin Warden II

A healers heart feels your pain
Giving you it's all to feel whole again.
Steadily seeking out your sorrow
Hoping to build you a better tomorrow.
Not caring what happens to me
Just so long as you're happy and free.
I might not always do what's right
But I want to help you through the night.
So just lay down and get some rest
'Cause when I'm with you I'm at my best.
