quit bugging me

What are these little bugs

attempting to annoy me??

They keep interrupting while I write

can't they  let me be??

Can it be that they don't like

the words I'm writing down?

They keep interrupting while I work

but they don't make a sound.

They just walk across my hands

when I think that it's all clear

then I look around and find

they have re-appeared.

Maybe it's the fact that I

spend too much time around

this place where my computer

and my writing can be found.

Can it be the food that I

have let inside the door

crumbs around the desk

crumbs upon the floor??

Maybe I should stop right now

and try and take some time

to clean up some of this mess

but I seem to want to ryhme

and write and write then read and read

and spend most of my day

here with you within

the writers cafe.

 

really I should go now........

So much could be substituted for reading and writing, while keeping the bugs. It has a variable sense of potential madness, limited only by how insanely you are willing to read it - from quite the norm to the men in white coats are already coming through the door.

I could not help reading faster, building a pace.

I hate to be manipulated, but I enjoy a work that does that.
