its up to you, all of itA Poem by DRIVENsometimes we argue for our limitationsShe sits on the floor wondering if life is gonna pass her by. She sits and dreams of yesterdays and why she never learned to fly.
She writes and paints and still complains that no one takes the time to see what she has given day to day She cannot face reality
When I came to visit her I found that she hasn't changed her fears same complaints, same attitude same wanting you to see her tears
I wanted to feel sorry but I found it difficult because nothings changed in all these years she still remains where she was
I wish that I could give to her the ability she needs to fly and show her that the gift is there to spread her wings, to give a try
but instead I listen patiently while she tells me why she just can't move and stays inside her little world and will not try to improve
herself
