Happiness hidden within madness

It surrounds me

Consumes me

Darkness summons me and won't let go

I try to run

but it grabs me

pulls me back

I reach for the light

It's so close but I can't reach.

I try try try

The darkness surronding me is cold

im freezing

I can't feel anything

Im becoming numb

my heart freeze's 

I need the light

The warmth it brings

I pull free

run

I join the light

the darkness is left behind

simply a shadow in the past

All this time my happiness was hidden

in the madness that had once consumed me..
