When Time Froze

Butterflies ate me alive

At the idea of such plans

But my feet walked with you

While my heart beat like crazy

I was as nervous as they come

But I didn't care

 

When we reached our destination

A laugh bubbled from my throat

I didn't know what to do with me

But you made my breath stop

When you said "come here"

Without hesitation, I went

I wanted this

 

The world melted away

The moment you pulled me close

Everything went black

When our tender lips met

The butterflies exploded

But you didn't let go

Thanks for not letting go

 

When we finally parted

A hum echoed from my heart

And just when I thought we were done

You claimed you weren't

And you pulled me in again<3
