Than pretty watercolor promises
Or the splattering spray of solace

You are a painter of shades
Surprising even your canvas with color
While your imagination reignites

Yet between the murky hues of mood
There is a memorizing quality in your art
So I accept your sporadic expressions

Without inspiration, you inspire
Creating palates of metallic mixtures
That linger sweetly in my mouth
