Plain Sight

Plain Sight

A Poem by Sarah Jane

These words fall out seldom

Spilling sporadically as confetti

Wisdom is much more graphic

Within deep eyes, pooled warmth.

Despite the dilemma

I implore you to touch me

To lose control

It is important

To find a quiet space

Where no one could hear

Our shared sense, ethereal

Where we need not hesitate

Sensations made of magic

Excitement at its peak

A dangerous possibility

there is a very sensual feel to this...but i also see i dichotomy with the muse....meeting in a quiet place...the words inconsistent like the fall of confetti....the sensations we feel when writing..
the excitement...i know for me the poems usually come in bunches in a short space of time...and then suddenly the experience, like being in some zone, just stops ....and i know i am done until the next time.
