Tea Party

Tea Party

A Poem by Sarah Jane

It may be musty
But the air is thick
Filled with my girls
And the scent of lipstick

I've planned a nice party
To welcome a friend
A lively young beauty
Who fought to the end

I'll name her Louise
Introduce her to the others
Prop her up proper
In my circle of lovers

Weaved hair placed perfect
Over patchy dark curls
And a pearl for her tongue
Like the rest of my girls
