We are LegendA Poem by Sarah Jane
An old voice crackles tonight
Through faded speakers It bellows of conspiracies And little nonsense things The age of my radio is veiled Shadowed by a crowded box Full of angels and scales To later damn us My mind is elsewhere tonight On a playground, by the mall Stomach acid and cigarettes An nobody else at all The world out there is thriving Logic tell me that fact Yet I feel if I leave this room Ill find I'm the only one left Me and that bellowing man © 2013 Sarah Jane |
