We are Legend

We are Legend

A Poem by Sarah Jane

An old voice crackles tonight
Through faded speakers
It bellows of conspiracies
And little nonsense things
The age of my radio is veiled
Shadowed by a crowded box
Full of angels and scales
To later damn us
My mind is elsewhere tonight
On a playground, by the mall
Stomach acid and cigarettes
An nobody else at all
The world out there is thriving
Logic tell me that fact
Yet I feel if I leave this room
Ill find I'm the only one left

Me and that bellowing man
