Because he loved and only loved!

 

She couldn't understand

what he wrote

because it wasn't just a love letter

 

He never disclosed

what he wrote

because it wasn't just a poem

 

He secluded

to avoid her thought

but it wasn't just a thought

 

He lost

the so-called battle of love

because he never considered it a battle....

I can hear that this poem is right from the heart. The man loved and only loved ... that's so wonderful. But, do you know, girls liked to be told, time and time and time again! But you are quite right, love should never be a battle. I hope future love comes soon.
