9.

Jesus winked. How does that grab you?

 I mea…an, he is cool as the preacher on The Mountain and The Plain.

{That's up and down and never square. His zen is sound!!}

He was the utmost “beat” of his generation.

Upbeat, downbeat, march to a different drum beat.

His sow’s ear purse was full from donations for ministry against cholesterol " ie. bad heart foods.

And he headed off to get the rep of a glutton while he rounded up some down to earth folk… thousands who wanted a simple fare of bread and fish.

The difference between a sow’s ear and silken purse was the difference between Rome and Jerusalem, August Caesar’s court musicians and Regent King Herod’s boyz n th band. “Oh!” The Son of Man thought, “How they will chatter & gossip like jaybirds over  this lily white squirrel.” Gotta love the guy… or die.

More poems under the weighty guise of addendum:

1.       On the drive to school / we thought to speak some haiku / but fumbled over…         (5.7.5 circularity rules.)
