Oops!

It’s time to

fix my supper,

but my grocery

shopping

 I haven’t done;

So it’s fridge

and cupboards

scavenging for me;

A challenge, Yes,

but often

more fun!

Leftovers are not wrong. Therefore they must be right. Allows for creativity and cuts down on waste. I am wondering what you had for your supper? My family say I can make a meal out of nothing (well almost nothing). If you've got eggs, you'll never be hungry. If you've got some cheese, even better. I can make soup out of unused veg. So what was on your menu?

I made "Whatever-I-can-find-goes-in-it-Soup" outa,
a cut-up slice of 3-day old pepperoni pizza,
a leftover part-can of baked beans,
two frozen wieners cut in pieces,
frozen mixed veggies,
chicken broth,
the remains of diced tomatoes in a can,
a palm-full of quick oats to thicken the broth, lemon-pepper, mustard, horseradish & raisins,
...and a mandarin orange (not in the soup :)
and a beer (also not in the soup)
***It was Wonderful!!! no kidding! :)*** ...I'm going to make it On-Purpose next time !haha
