an old-fashioned word,

 for Sentiments,

Absurd,

and Nonsensical,

and so fitting of late.

“My truth,

Your truth,”

 The Truth,

and nothing but.

An old-fashioned word,

for old-fashioned Fact.

After living alone in the wilderness for 10 years, I often hear all the noise coming from "out there" as being claptrap. You captured that idea & attitude perfectly. So much of what fills up the airwaves is opinion, as you aptly slam. To me, life is much sweeter without so much of that (((HUGS)))

Balderdash sounds so terribly posh don'tcha think? Variety is sort of liberating. Anything else would be like a straight jacket.
