If Happiness

If Happiness

A Poem by Dylan Macadham
"

a Verse in 10 lines

"

If Happiness be a pursuit,

as penned John Locke,

and Jefferson declared,

Can it ever and truly,

 be so obtained?

And if it can,

and the pursuit is done,

by what manner,

and by what means,

is it so sustained?

Happiness is fleeting. You find it in the smallest things in life. What's more you have to find your own happiness. It can't be bought or borrowed. Thoughtful poem. Lots of small bits of happiness can certainly change an outlook for the better. Can it be sustained :) Nothing lasts forever.
