Awkward Silence

Awkward Silence

A Poem by Dylan Macadham
"

A Question that rhymes, dumped in 12 lines

"

To keep my mouth shut,

I constantly resolve,

when an awkward silence,

causes my brain to dissolve.

Why am I driven,

to fill a gap with words,

that dump from my lips,

like so many turds?

To rescue a moment,

Is the lapse of a fool,

and observed by most all,

as so verrry uncool.

An amusing write. Change of title too:) Silence is golden ya know. Stops you from putting your foot in it :) A cool.poem and it rhymes.
