God, Pluck, Pluck

God, Pluck, Pluck

A Poem by Dylan Macadham

A Petal Plucking Poem in 12 lines

"
Pick
a daisy,
pluck
its petals,
God is,
God isn't,
He loves me,
He loves me not,
He begat Us,
We begat Him,
pluck,
pluck.

Petal plucking seems a tad cruel to me :) Why not let the beautiful flower live in peace for its short life instead of subjecting it to torture. Do you think God would approve of such destruction of one of his creations? I like where you went with this poem my mind wandered far beyond flowers and on to people and places.
