Jill: “It’s like I'm a bizzy-junkie, I never stop to ... live.”

Jack: “To smell the proverbial roses you mean?”

Jill: “Yes! I obsessively schedule every moment of my life.”

Jack: “Reminds me of something John Lennon said.”

.   .   .

Jill: “The dead Soviet dictator? What’s he got to do with my compulsion?”

Jack: “No, the Beatle. John said, ‘Life is what happens while you’re making other plans.’”

Jill: “Meaning what? That real life is all about missteps?

.   .   .

Jack: “Yeah, I guess. Take Alexander Fleming, who accidentally discovered penicillin while experimenting with the flu virus. Saved millions of lives.”

Jill nods. Yes, that’s right. I learned that in school. The Miracle Accident.”

Jack, visibly proud of himself, smiles. “Feeling better now, pal?”

Jill: “Not yet, but I will be when somebody missteps an antibiotic for bizzy-junkies.”
