In Memories We Made

In Memories We Made

A Poem by Dylan Macadham
"

If regrets I had none, then memories I'd have few.

"
If regrets I had none,
then memories I'd have few,
for it's regret of things past,
that remind me of you.
Why is it I lament,
that regrets rarely fade,
yet harden like cement,
in the life that we made.
And the joys that we had,
evaporate as dreams,
or in time turn sad,
and sever at seams.

oooo.... I like your style. And superb opening lines, it's hard not to love those two openers.

Nice work. I look forward to see what else you have.
