Jill: “Ever have one of those days?”

Jack: “Yeah, most days. Why?”

Jill: “It’s like all my parts are operating at odds from my brain, and from each other.”

Jack nods. “Ah, yes. Disconnectivitis.”

.   .   .

Jill: “ … Dis-connecta-whattis?”

Jack: “The feeling that all your connections, internal and external, have been switched off.”

Jill: “Yes! That’s it exactly. Is there a remedy?”

Jack: “Yes, peanut butter.”

.   .   .

Jill laughs her head off. “Funny! You’re crazy, dear friend.”

Jack: “Blink your eyes, stretch your limbs, look about, and tell me how you feel.”

Laughing, Jill complies. “I feel ... better. I feel better!”

Jack nods knowingly. “Peanut butter.”
