Mini-Play: Don’t You See?A Stage Play by Dylan Macadham3-Act Play in 12 LinesJack: “I need a change.” Jill: “A
change from what?” Jack throws
up his hands. “I don’t know from what, that’s
the problem.” Jill: “I
know what you mean. I often get that feeling too.” . . Jack: “What
do you do when you get it?” Jill: “I go
out and buy a new pair of shoes.” Jack: “Does
it help?” Jill: “Surprisingly,
yes. Although, I don’t know why.” . . . Jack
bounces a palm off his forehead. “I do!
… I think.” Jill: “You
do? Why?” Jack: “Don’t
you see? What better solution could there be for an I-don’t-know-from-what? than an I-don’t-know-why-it-helps?!” . . . © 2021 Dylan Macadham |
