Jill: “They passed me over again, d****t!”

Jack: “The proverbial they? For what?”

Jill: “No, the Corporate they. For the promotion they promised me!”

Jack: “Damn snakes! Who did they give it to?”

.   .   .

Jill: Bob Mullens, my rival.”

Jack: “What’s Bob got that you don’t?”

Jill: “A Peanut.”

Jack laughs. “Sorry, couldn’t help it. … A peanut?”

.   .   .

Jill: “Yeah, the Pennalty, a corporate trophy awarded for innovation in market penetration. Bob got the bright idea to add purple to our white, black and ivory color line.”

Jack: “ … But, purple is kind of an old ladies color, isn’t it?”

Jill: “Why didn’t I think of it?! Old dears have been grabbin’em up like there’s no tomorrow.”
