3-Act Play in 12 Lines

Jill: “And you? Do you believe?”

Jack: “In God? No.”

Jill: “A fellow Atheist, huh?”

Jack: “No.”

Jill: “You have to be one or the other, pal.”

Jack: He shakes his head. “I won’t be labelled by something I don’t believe in.”

Jill: “I don’t understand.”

Jack: “Do you believe a thorn in your side can cure all that ails you?”

Jack: “So, you’re an Athornist, huh?”

Jill: She chuckles. “That’s silly.”

Jack: “Yes, it certainly is.”
