Thoughts of a sad panda

Thoughts of a sad panda

A Poem by Klayton Calix
"

She will know what I mean by this when she reads this. I trust her as I always have even though I was stupid to let her slip past me once more.

"

I think I'm falling
Falling for you.
I think you have me, had me.
Said to me when I said, "I love you"
Took my heart & ran with it.
Stole it once, maybe twice.
In the same day, baby you amaze me.
Fluttery feelings warm inside.
The butterfly's bloom, a feeling is missed.
This hole in my heart hallows me out
Will you be the one?
The one who fills it in?
My feelings as under, leaves me confused
Conflicted inside I almost cry
These feelings I have missed.
For many a years
You make me numb inside
Can it be my nerves?
Hands steadily shaking
I've no control.
This nervousness I'm feeling.
Unsettling it can be.
True intentions to me unknown
Do I trust her again?
The Lady of Fate?
Though miles apart
The ocean separates us
We might be lovers if the mood is right
My heart outta control, my mind beings, it's racing.
Tell me what to feel
Just what do I say?
This flirting game, to me I'm no stranger
Can it be just that thing
Or will this grow to something more?
At night I lock the door so no one else can see me
We might be lovers in this moon lit sky
What must I say?
What must I do?
My feelings bound against me
Is what I'm feeling real?
My hopes set to high?
Who will catch me...
...catch me when I fall
We might be lovers if the rhythms right
