The burnt roomA Chapter by DJKookieTrisha had discover a room that had been burnt and had found two things that could help them on the case. There was blood all over broken pieces of windows, blood on
the creamy coloured couch and blood in the silver kitchen sink “Man” my partner
muttered under her breath “Why so much blood?” she asked me while going through
the mangled body, I let out a sigh and took my gloves off “Because” I began “The
killer tried to hide the body by cutting it up into pieces but was to messy, so
while he tried to hide the pieces he had likely got scared of the sirens and
ran off throwing the arm at the window and smashed it.” My partner Trisha stared at me with an annoyed
expression “Ya know, that was a rhetorical question right?” I frowned “I know.
What makes you think that I wouldn’t know?” she rolled her eyes at me “Well,
you did answer that and-” before she could say more I had cut her off “Get back
to work, we need to bring this back to the lab you know” I said like I was her
boss. Wait, I AM her boss! Before letting my unprofessional mind take over I
quickly went back to work and collected blood samples. As I collected blood
samples Trisha had walked off into another room “Lia, you better take a look at
this” I rose up and walked to the room she had walked into, as I entered I had
saw nothing but black ashes and badly burnt items “Whoa” was all I could say in
this situation “How come the police didn’t tell us about this?” Trisha asked me
while standing next to me looking around the room “Well, they could have not
check all the rooms or” Trisha turned to me “Or what?” She asked “Or they could have wanted to keep
this away from us city folk and investigate themselves” Trisha rolled her eyes.
How doesn’t that hurt? I wondered “They wouldn’t do that. They wouldn’t be able
to pull it off without the proper equipment anyway” She finished “I hate when
your right” She smiled for once “You hate it when anyone is right” I put a new
pair of gloves on “True. Now let’s do what we are the best at” She also had put
on new gloves and started to look for any bones of flesh. After about ten
minutes I had found something, and so had Trisha “What did you find?” She asked
holding a plastic bag “Half burnt finger bones” I said “How about you?” She lifted up the bag and all I could see was
a big red ball which was a little burnt “I think it is a eye ball” I let out a
big smile which had clearly scared Trisha “Why are you smiling?” She asked with
a concerned voice “Because my little sister had finally found something other
than a broken fingernail!” I squealed out hugging her tight “Oh brother” She
had rolling her eyes. Well, I think she rolled her eyes. © 2013 DJKookieAuthor's Note
