Another poem I wrote for my girlfriend in my creative writing class.

Your face is the sunshine,
that illuminates my life.
Your eyes are emeralds,
that shimmer in my mind.
Your hair is the finest yarn,
so soft to the touch.
Your love is the brightest light,
it shows me who I am.
You are an Angel,
Radiant and kind.
You are the key
that unlocks my frightened heart.
I see your image like a mural in my mind-
I love you,
and I always will.

I really like this, but the last two lines kind of sit there because they don't equal the meter that you've previously used. There is a lovely flow to this piece and its clear whoever you're writing about means the world to you...just add a few syllables to those last lines (in my opinion) and the whole poem will read that much better as a whole. :)
