My Dad Trains Me To Execute

A Chapter by Jennifer

Jennebelle and Jeremy have some joyous training, presented by the dad :)

We all went into a dark circular room that seemed like it was recently built. We went in and there were to two chairs as if it was telling us to sit there. Around the perimeter of the room were a bunch of computers, wires, screens, TV’s, and cameras. He told us to sit down and relax. But seriously, how can I relax when I don’t know what’s going to happen to me? We sat down and the “parents” did some typing and all the screens started to show words and couldn’t read them in the distance.

“Try not to get too scared. I warned you. Okay first you’ll encounter some kind of monster that I summoned myself. I put a communication system so that we can communicate when you go underground. An earphone should be in your ear. And it can catch what your saying in you head.” He explained quickly.

“Huh? Undergrou--?” And I get interrupted from a sudden falling and I thought the machine was broken. Turns out… it wasn’t. It was supposed to happen. Why couldn’t dad had made us immune to this stupid down feeling as if I’m on a roller coaster?

I wandered around in darkness looking for Jeremy and I found a blurry outline of Jeremy lying on the floor. I saw him stand up and ran to him.

He was trying to say a sentence but I couldn’t hear anything. So I tried talking too but it didn’t work.

“Sorry I guess it had some technical difficulties in there so just communicate through your heads. Also, just to tell you I can hear what you guys say in your head too.”

“Okay just in case. You can hear me right?” I thought.

          “Perfectly”

“Okay I want you guys to hold hands.” Dad ordered

“Uh. Okay it’s kind of dark in here so lets cooperate.” Jeremy thought

“Sure but my eye’s aren’t good in the dark!” I thought. “Wait do you see like two glowing thingies in the air?”

“Don’t worry you’ll get used to the dark. Thingies? Oh I guess we’re near each other then. Do you know what perspective you’re looking at?”

          “I think it’s the front”

“Side. I’ll come over to you”

“You guys that’s the monster I summoned, try to kill it” dad said

“We have to kill little tiny lighty thingies? And how exactly do we do that?!”

Suddenly its starts moving around furiously and we hear a mind freezing, body chilling, goose bump giving, (anything you can think of that you get when you get when you’re freaked out) moan. Add that with some bad breath of it too. It should brush it’s teeth once in a while.

“Don’t worry once you kill it you’ll be back in no time.” Dad said

“Like I said. ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL US?!” I yelled furiously.

“Okay you see each other right? Hold hands and quickly before it gets crazy.”

We held onto each other’s hands and our hands started to glow. And before I knew it there was a glove on my hand. I was scared but interested and Jeremy had a glove on his hand as well. It was a white glove. Mine had a roman numeral.

{  I  }    . I look at Jeremy’s as well and he had the same exact glove. Except his glove was slightly different in the design.

“Wait but I have a problem, if my power is elemental control there’s no fire, water, earth, or air.”

“Well the you can just produce the elements from nothingness..”

          “Oh. I see”

“Jeremy we have to scram it’s starting to wake up!”

“Oh shoot! Okay we’re going to need a plan.”

“Jeremy can you try making fire?”

“Yeah but what are you going to do?”

          “You’ll see” I snickered.

He closed his eyes and made a small fireball. I decided to use my telekinesis to swirl the fire around the monster and make it dizzy so that it will be unfocused on us. I decided that he could make air and make the fire bigger. And while the monster is still dizzy I can just make the spinning fireball hit the monster. I was confident about it. But I needed to have good aim. So I focused on the fire and made it swirl around the monster. That took out a fourth of my energy and I got extremely tired. I forced myself to stay away while Jeremy was making air. I made the air combine with the fire and it grew too much so I started to panic. I suddenly just threw the fire to the monster.

“Run away as fast as you can Jeremy!”

          “What’s going on?”

          “JUST RUN FOR IT!”

We ran away in darkness as far as we could and suddenly we couldn’t move. It felt like I was in an elevator and I started going up which made me feel sick, again. I closed my eyes and when I opened I was at home.

“Wow. I’m impressed. You guys actually killed it. I made it hard too. I’m going to have to upgrade it.”

“You’re killing me…” I said while panting. “Bah! I’m going to my room and I’m going to take a warm bath.

“Whew. Same here. I’m going to go back home,” Jeremy said, fanning himself.

I went upstairs to the bathroom and took by contacts off and looked at my red eyes in curiosity.

“Hey Jeremy… Why do you think our eyes are red?”

          “Hmm I don’t know”

“Well that was one tiring day. Whelps! See ya’ tomorrow. Good night” I said.

          “Haha. I agree. Good night~”

She went to sleep and left a finger dent on her bathroom doorknob.
