Friday The 13th

Friday The 13th

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

If a little black cat has crossed your path
You better not drive you're car too fast
You'll have to watch your step all day
As superstition finds a way.

Don't dare to pick a mirror up
Your risking 7 years bad luck
Don't spill the salt at lunch today
As superstition finds a way.

Don't put new shoes on your table
Umbrellas indoors can prove fatal
This could be your final day
If superstition gets its way.

The days gone quick and you survived
Its thanks to fate that you're alive
You make it through to Saturday
Now Fridays just a memory.
