The Offensive Reverend

The Offensive Reverend

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

The laughing reverend's been at it again
This man of the cloth has no shame
Today as a coffin was walked down the aisle
The reverend came out with a beaming great smile.

It was down at the Crem just only last week
As the body was burning he gave out a shriek
Also when corpses are lowered to ground
The giggling reverend starts fooling around.

The Bishop has warned him time after time
The reverend insist's he's committed no crime
He says that his job is not about money
He just he thinks that death is ever so funny.
