Our Dying Words

Our Dying Words

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

Yesterday's words have all died
How many were spoken who knows
Conversations and banter have perished
Seems strange that the words are ago.

I cannot imagine how many
Words that will just pass away
It's a billion and more that will vanish
When we reach the end of today.

Most of our world's conversations
Are forgotten the very next minute
There are banished into our ether
It's a shame init.
