A Murder Of Crows

A Murder Of Crows

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

We wait here by the roadside
For the corpses in the night.
Badgers, Foxes, rodents
Who can't outrun the lights.

Just heard a thud the blood is warm
We're off to get our fill.
Those cars our greatest allies
When we're too tired to kill.

A murder of crows they call us
But we don't do no killing.
We're not daft, we sit and wait
When something else is willing.

So next time you are driving fast
Down those dark and dingy roads.
We appreciate your murder
Love from all the crows xxxx.
