The Spider's Takeaway

The Spider's Takeaway

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

Ahh dinners here i feel the twang
On my spider web.
Mosquito's, flies, i'll eat them all
If they fly into my bed.

The poor thing writhes, its end is close
As i rush to bind him tight.
Its a fly, he looks yum
As i take a tasty bite.

I do not want to spoil your lunch
But we love those ticks & fleas.
So delicious eating thugs of bugs
To us they're KFCs.

Us spiders are your greatest pals
We keep disease at bay.
And nothing tastes quite so good
As our insect takeaways.

AS I'VE READ YOUR OTHER WORKS..THEY HAVE A THEME AND THIS ONE IS NO EXCEPTION TO THE RULE...SPIDERS ARE PART OF THE ECOSYSTEM LIKE ANYTHING ELSE...I'M IN DEBT TO THEIR WAYS FOR GETTING THOSE INSECTS...
