Chimes And Graves

Chimes And Graves

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

I often sit among these graves
I go there often still amazed.
Peaceful places, cemetery's
Tinkling chimes in the breeze.

I'll talk with you, don't you worry
A place where no-ones in a hurry.
I know your gone, we miss you dearly
I'm sure you can, hear me clearly.

The Lives they lived help me see
I must go on, makes me believe.
The names are here but not mine
Till my battle ends with father time.

I've had my chat it's time to go
Where i'm headed i don't know.
Peaceful places, cemetery's
Tinkling chimes in the breeze.

yeah in a morbid kind of way you are right, there is a lot of peace in those places, especially when the sun is shining. Nice write.
