The Blind Ghost

The Blind Ghost

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

He wanders around in sadness
The ghost he can't even cry
It's a stupid mistake to make
When you donate your eyes when you die.

He thought he would never return
As he never believed in spirits
He should have donated his liver
But he's really now dropped himself in it.

When returning to earth as a ghost
It's come as a big surprise
He's haunting around in circles
So he really now needs those eyes.

My advice is when you pass on
Which organ's will you need the most
It may well come back to haunt you
If you ever return as a ghost.
