Spooky Weekend

Spooky Weekend

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

My Ghostly weekend was awful
Not a sign of a spook all night.
My girlfriend said, your wasting your money
Again of course she's right.

I told her she'd love it, ghosts will roam
We won't get a wink of sleep.
When we got to bed, she slept like a baby
She now wants to stay here all week.

I told the guide, we want to be frightened
This place is not haunted my friend.
My girlfriends delighted, can't get her to leave
So much for my spooky weekend.
