The Naked Ghosts

The Naked Ghosts

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

The cemetery gates are soundly locked
The poor old vicar has been shocked
His church Is plagued by naked ghosts
It's what he's feared the very most

He knew that someday they'd appear
And his congregation, how they did Lear
Aisles now packed In this place once sacred
To get a glimpse of the bodies naked

The folks who prayed now tripled in size
Since the saucy ghosts sprang their surprise
To concentrate on amazing Grace
Bears another meaning In this place

The vicars decision was so tough
The poor old fellow he had enough
It's a cruel dilemma for his profession
As he spends all his time In confession.

Seems there is more to this verse...by the words on the bottom of the page...something is missing..
