The Empty Chair

The Empty Chair

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL
"

(strange how an empty space touches our hearts)

"
The empty chair where you should be
Means so many things to me
The chair was where I saw you last
I cannot sit there since you past

The chair was where all time stood still
It's so unfair that you were ill
I'm left alone I miss the fun
I can't believe that you have gone.

It seems so strange your empty chair
Makes our room completely bare
My pain and sorrow I can't disguise
You brought such joy to both our lives.

I sometimes glance at where you sat
I can feel your presence looking back
You loved your chair, Its now alone
It will stay free till you come home.
