These Are A Few Of My Scariest Things

These Are A Few Of My Scariest Things

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

I hid behind the sofa
When the dalek's came
you may think it's funny
But i never felt ashamed.

I'm always scared of thunder
Even more so lightning
You may laugh of snigger
I thought it was quite frightening.

The night would last forever
The dark was pretty scary
I picture you are speechless
Thinking what a fairy.

The sea was vast and noisy
I had a fear of drowning
So powerful is water
I hope that you're not frowning.

Ghosts were major worries
I'd see them in my dreams
By now i guess your'e howling
You think this rhymes a scream.

I swear to you my fears are true
Even though I'm in my 40s
If you say you're scared of nowt
I know your telling porkies.
